Services
I offer 1:1 or small group tuition, in person or online, at the following levels:
Primary KS2
(Years 3, 4, 5 and 6)
During these years the fundamentals are learnt and confidence can thrive. I have seen children flourish simply by ensuring they have a good solid grounding in multiplication and division facts, together with number bonds. With classes as big as they are and teachers stretched these basics can be missed and not given the attention required for secure progression through the national curriculum.
11+ Preparation
Years 4 and 5
Help with preparation for local grammar and private school entry exams can be provided with students thus far achieving 100% success rate for their 1st choice school.
Secondary KS3
(Years 7, 8 and 9)
Starting senior school is a massive change for the majority of children. They can sometimes find themselves falling behind at this stage. Good tutoring from an experienced, patient and straight forward individual will lead to increased confidence, grades and most importantly enjoyment.
Adult Numeracy or Equivalency
Customized Lessons to Fit
Did you struggle with maths at school and feel like you want to improve and develop your skills further? Adult numeracy can be a requirement for individuals who did not achieve the required GCSE grade whilst at school. Whether you want to take level 1 or 2; do your GCSE again; improve your maths skills so that you can feel more confident in everyday life; or perhaps even, gain the skills to support your children to enjoy the subject in the future.
